Bozo the Clown was actually a franchise. Different cities across the states each had their own actor and studio producing the show. However, there was one particular studio in Boston, WHDH-TV, which syndicated its show to several markets including NY. Frank Avruch played the role of Bozo the Clown for this children syndicated show during the years 1959 to 1970. I was barely old enough to see the show before it went off the air. Seeing this video tickled my earliest synaptic memory cells.
