Composed by the German Felix Mendelssohn in 1841 during the romantic classical period of music evolution. A piece used by Warner Brothers throughout many of their early cartoon works for children. Compare some of the subjects and music used in children cartoons today and you may find it as depressing as I do.

Very beautiful Klink.
Felix thanks you.
Simple yet provocative in melodic structure. The provocative feeling comes from the jump in musical intervals (a technicality). It can be explained as a physical spring over a field of daffodils. An easy yet daring leap over something precious. Corny, yet apropos.
I'm not a big fan of the romantic period, but this melody is simply timeless given its influence in modern day media.
